We all love our starbucks drinks. But do we love all the fat and calories they come with?!
NO. (well if you’re anything like me, then you’ll agree)
That is why I came up with THIS.
See when I was younger, I hated coffee, true story (gasp).
When my family would run into starbucks, I would always say..”give me something that doesn’t taste like coffee”.
They would proceed to give me a white bean or caramel frappuccino.
Aka, let’s just throw tons of sugar and fat into it instead of real coffee.
So when I began eating healthy in high school, those went OUT THE DOOR.
(sad day).
BUT THEN THE LIGHT CAME.
Quest Nutrition created NEW protein powder flavors.
If you haven’t heard of them already, their protein in 50% whey and 40% casein..which makes for SUPER THICK shakes and wONDERFUL baking.
Salted caramel and banana cream, WHAT?! With their already amazing vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter and strawberry flavors.. I knew I was going to LOVE these new ones before even trying.
But for YOUR sake. I videoed a taste test.
Did I like it?
I guess you’ll have to watch the video!
But until then..
You know how I love to create healthy remakes of starbucks drink after I made this diy Gingerbread Latte!
Well enjoy this diy salted caramel frappuccino that is low sugar, low fat, low in calories, and high in protein!
Perfect breakfast or post workout drink? YES.
Until next time,
