So as I told you all a little while ago, I went to California for TEN DAYS at the very end of July! But of course had posts scheduled for you all so that you could still enjoy some YUMMY recipes 🙂
Anyways, I COULD NOT have had a better time whether it be during my visits and stays with long time blogging friends like SuperSisterFitness and GigiEatsCelebrities..or my time working with Quest Nutrition at VidCon and getting to meet AMAZING people there like Blogilates, Gemma Stafford, Katie Dunlop from LoveSweatFitness..and more!
Now I know you all come here for my yummy yet healthy recipes..but every once in awhile, I think thta maybe you’d like to see other parts of my life?

well, I’ll share parts in this blog post along with a fun video..and then let you guys tell me in the comments whether I should keep doing this or not haha
SOOO where do I begin?!
Day 1-2: Flew into LA, took the train to San Diego, and stayed with the SuperSisterFitness sisters, Liz and Sara! Such a fun time filled with a yummy mexican dinner, attending Liz’s workout class at LA Fitness, made a couple fun videos to come on topics I think YOU WILL LOVE, a fun lunch where we were serenaded by a guitar player walking by, and just fun conversations in between!
Day 2-4: Back to LA where I stayed with distant family I hadn’t see for awhile for the next two days. So fun seeing them again and spending time having a shopping day and ending it with a DELICIOUS mediterranean dinner where I ate tons of tabouli, pita and hummus, and lamb! MMM. Then I also got to go into Quest Nutrition’s Head Quarters one day and make a fun recipe in their kitchen setup and just tour around the place! (oh and eat a few bars while I was at it and sample some of the smoothies they were testing out..peanut buter bacon anyone?! oh my <3 )
Day 5-8: VIDCON! I drove down to Anaheim with my friend from Quest, Mike, and had THE BEST WEEKEND ever! I had so much fun even in the working parts, but then got to meet so many fun people, got so much closer to past friends, and got to go to some FUN VIP parties as well 🙂 But definitely LITTLE sleep, as I would work from 7am-6pm, and then go straight to dinner with the group and out for the night! But AM SO GRATEFUL I was able to attend and be with the people I was with, because I made some great friendships along the way <3
Day 9! Drove back to LA where I got to stay with GiGi from GiGiEatsCelebrities! OH MY is this girl fun. Constantly has me laughing, and we couldn’t more MORE SIMILAR in many ways..good thing since we was stuck with me for the night :p Then we ate TONSSSSSS of sushi (YESSSS my fav), made two really fun videos that will be up on our channels soon, and just had fun hanging out together 🙂
LAST DAY!Â
That saddest of them all because I knew it was my last. But I had the BEST girls day with two girls I have become close with over the trip, Josie Mai (may know her!) and my friend Megan. We had a shopping day in Santa Monica, where we bought new outfits, along with matching pjs and LOTS of candy for the sleepover night to come. Then we headed to an “after after vidcon party” at YouTube Space, with line dancing and all! So fun, even though I surely couldn’t keep up with it :p
Then we all came back and had one big sleepover at our friend’s place, filled with almost 1lb of sour patch kids, “dingle BEARies” (aka, chocolate covered gummy bears. LIFE CHANGING), popcorn, matching pjs, and a movie!
The next morning I woke up SO SAD that I had to leave..but it had been such an incredible trip. See, I am usually the girl that is READY to get back home, to my own routine, after being away for awhile..but not this time. I would have stayed out there forever!
And yes, the reason for the title of this post is because I would now LOVE to move out there whenever I can. But for now, I’ll begin my dietetic internship and masters program at Florida State where God has me now 🙂
Oh and ps: in case you haven’t seen my instagram photo..I only worked out twice the whole trip..and guess what? I DIDN’t DIE OR GAIN A TON OF WEIGHT. You can just enjoy yourselves sometimes and have fun with the people you’re with <3
