After being asked if I could share all my must haves for my more nontoxic baby products for my registry (not that I’m perfect by any means, but I tried to pick the smartest options!). So here is a post with all of the things people bought from my registry or we bought ourselves!
UPDATE: After my 2nd pregnancy now, I’ve added a section onto the bottom for some little additions you may want for your 2nd baby — even though there wasn’t too much with loving all I got for my first and being able to use that again!
ps: here are all the main folders for baby things on AMAZON, in case you just want to browse all the things I’ve loved for mine!
- Less Toxic Registry folder
- Baby boy nursery
- Baby girl nursery
- Baby 0-12 month favorites
- Baby/Toddler 1+ favorites
- Baby Kitchen must haves
- Baby travel must haves
- Our playroom things for 6-24mo
- oh and can’t forget my postpartum must haves for mama
Before sharing all the nontoxic baby products we added to our registry, just know I’m only sharing the things I either would have still bought myself, or ended up buying myself after everyone was done buying gifts for us, because as I promised — it’s only my favorite / must haves for our new baby boy! ๐ Some of the things on our baby registry were for the baby nursery, but we actually had bought most of that stuff already — post coming soon on that! (UPDATE: here’s the nursery post!!)ย (I’m not going to lie, I was PRETTY happy how it turned out since I do NOT have the designer/fashion type mind, nor do I know how to put together trendy/nice looking rooms ๐
And if you know me at all then you can probably guess this, but I also stocked up on alllll the baby oils, nontoxic baby body care, and baby wipes from this company right here! (so I didn’t put those on my registry). Or you can see THIS link for specifically all my pregnancy and baby favorites!

Nontoxic Baby Products for Registry!
It means SO much to me for you to use my links here if purchasing the products. It helps support what I do on here – so thank you in advance ๐
ps: since the first baby and now pregnant with the second, I’ve updated the list to what I REALLY should have initially had on it, adding a couple and taking away some unneeded ones! Alao here’s my whole amazon store with all my favorites in each category now that I’m 18 months into motherhood as I update this post!
And here is my overall amazon folder for less toxic registry – where many of the below can be found!
Memories:
- Monica and Andy one https://bit.ly/3BOhzuo
- An amazon one we got too
- Personalized Keepsake Baby Box: https://savor.us/products/baby-years-edition-memory-box-ocean?variant=39316913782968ย
- this is so special to have for them one day — assuming at least one of my kids will be the sentimental type ๐
TRAVEL:
Strollers! We finally decided on the Uppababy Vista V2 stroller + Mesa Infant Car Sear Uppababy (we went with the newest 2021 in this charcoal color! We loved the white but didnโt want to worry about it getting dirty since we plan for this to last a long time!)
-
- just the stroller or carseat separately are linked here too
- This was a pricey investment but one that even on baby 2 now… don’t regret at all! It was amazing for baby 1, and plan on using both the carseat and stroller for baby 2 now too! (stroller converts to 2 person!)
- Scroll down to bottom for all my MUST HAVES for baby number 2 — including attachments for this stroller!
- Doona car seat and stroller (after a lot of back and forth, we decided to not get this until feeling like we needed a travel one possibly after birth — but have heard amazing things from some mamas so had it on the registry!
- UPDATE: we ended up getting this one later for our travels and it was a LIFE SAVER. I probably wouldn’t use it as my main stroller UNLESS I was switching cars a lot, but TOTALLY worth the investment for any traveling, or if you take ubers a lot because of living in a city, then it’s definitely worth it!
- Iโve heard the Mockingbird is great too if wanting a cheaper option โ after taking a poll on my instagram and talking to friends! So including those here too in case you want that.
- Diaper Bag — Itzy Ritzy Diaper Backpack in vanilla latte, but they have a black one that was my 2nd option too!
- Carriers! We got a few ๐
- Baby Bjorn Carrier Mini (my husband LOVED this one when using my sister’s for longer walks with her baby!)
- Yall, update: This served us sooooo well. Literally got SO much use out of it from beach walks to quick errands to walking around the house…. to literally throughout all of europe when we took him at 6 months lol
- Happy Baby Carrier in stone (more around the home/shorter walks/outings): https://happybabycarriers.com/products/original-baby-carrier
- We used this one for inside places like going out to eat or church! The baby bjorn was better for outside walks and anywhere I may get a little sweaty hah.
- Solly Baby Wrap (had to get one wrap just to see if I was capable of doing the wrap ones ๐ )
- Update: never really got the whole wrap thing figured out – maybe next baby! But DID love this mesh little Konny carrier for in the pool/beach days – super light to pack too!
- UPDATE with 2nd baby: We were gifted the wildbird carrier and LOVED it for our 2nd, she napped so well in it! I will say, it’s pretty pricey and you can’t front face in it, only face towards you or back carry… so it’s up to you whether it’s worth it or not! I did love it, but also loved my baby bjorn a ton with my first and it was half the price! I’d say this wildbird is more visually appealing and comfy for them to nap in — but baby bjorn is great for all types of activities, inside and outdoor walks, and my son still did fine napping in it (sis was more pampered haha).
- Baby Bjorn Carrier Mini (my husband LOVED this one when using my sister’s for longer walks with her baby!)
- Graco pack and play: a must for road trips, early days it acted as one of our changing stations too haha, and even great for when mom friends come over to have a secondary sleep space for their babies!
- For traveling, I also realllly liked this Baby Delight Travel Crib (a little smaller than pack n play so better for earlier days!)
- UPDATE: a pack n play crib mattress pad is also a MUST. I didn’t do this for baby 1 but did it for baby 2, and they sleep SO much better with it!
- Brica car mirror
NURSING/FOOD
High Chair:
- Inglesina fast table chair (my sister said this was a must! Easy at home or bringing to friends/out with you/roadtrips!
- update: stilllll love this thing so much! great to even have when friends come over so their baby has a spot to eat!
- Peg Perego high chair (my sister also said this was a must and lasted her through all 3 kids!)
- update: Literally has been the BEST for us in this first 18mo of life; so easy to clean and just overall super durable! Wouldn’t ever use anything else!
For later eating, 6+ months:
- Baby spoon set
- Silicone baby food set
- Silicone suction meal set
- Bamboo silicone set
- Silicone bibs
Baby breeza formula pro maker (planning on breastfeeding but I’ve heard this is amazing even if you are for when you do need to start supplementing at all)
- update:ย I ended up not getting this and never buying it – it was going to be more for a “in case BFing doesn’t go right”… but never got it! But still adding it to the folder because I know whether it’s due to not wanting to or can’t BF, some of yall may want it!
Boppy nursing pillow, blue
- I also ended up getting the BRESTfriend pillow that’s more stability for a mama who doesn’t know what she’s doing and needs the PERFECT position to nurse lol. But then only really used the boppy later on!
For pumping:
- Blue Spectra Breast pump
- see note below on pink spectra, but the spectra I used early on and then the momcozy S12 wearable pumps were a GAME CHANGER a couple months in and lovedddd them. Got more from those (after the learning curve of using correctly!), than the spectra!
- Haaka manual breast pump: get the suction base because I can’t tell you how many times I cried over spilled milk… I now get the phrase lol
- Pink older version that needs to be plugged in (this one was actually free with my insurance so for now I just have this one + the Haaka! But if I find myself pumping more will definitely get the blue one above or the Elvie)
- UPDATE: I ended up getting this Momcozy wearable pump (I got the S12 but heard great things about M model too), and it’s A GAME CHANGER! Cheaper than the Elvie or others, but works SO good and is so convenient. Just make sure to get a flange insert of your correct size if you aren’t the size 24 it comes with!
- Also have the M5 ones too in the folder even though I loved the S12 (not as discreet but holds more milk), because if you need it to be more discreet, you may want those!
Bottles:
- for pumping collection — Spectra wide bottles
- update: honestly didn’t end up using much at all
- Dr Browns glass bottle set (heard these and the comotomo are both the best!)
- update: The only bottles I used throughout both nursing/pumping journeys! the Dr Brown Bottles were AMAZING, especially for a baby boy who spit up a ton because it was slow flow nipple tops.
- Comotomo bottles: these are super popular among a lot of moms, I had them but I think the Dr Brown ones I still used the most! But these are less pieces to clean and assemble if you don’t need super slow flow bottle like I did
- Kiinde twist milk storage pouches: I tried a ton of different milk bags and these definitely still get 1st place!!
Pacifiers:
- Pacifiers that were most like boob: tomme tippe and phillips advent were the only ones we ended up using out of all the ones we were gifted/tried!
- Wubbanub pacifier (ok these are just the cutest even though I know some will say they are too heavy for them, brady loved his!)
- Pacifier clips: we put these on all his tommee tippee ones!
Nursing:
- Silverette Nursing Cups (pricey but I heard are a life saver!)
- update: they SAVED MY LIFE (only half kidding, but truly at least saved my nipples between feeds)
- I also used nipple cream here and there between using the silverette cups if needed! And if your nipples get real destroyed, my midwife lended me some of her medical grade gel pads that were a lifesaver too. (also in this folder)
- Nursing covers
- ended up using this striped one and black one a ton!
- Organic muslin white burp cloths
- personally I needed more like towels vs cloths with a happy spitter baby lol, but still used these a ton!
- Burts bees organic burp cloths
-
another 5 pack organic white burp clothes too – can neverrr have enough burp cloths (or at least I couldn’t with a spit up baby!)
- DON’T buy the ones pictured below, they just made the spit up slide right down it and into my boobs/back/everywhere lol
Kitchen/Cleaning: (all found here)
- Philips Avent sterilizer
- update: i personally never used this much at all, but I also know a ton of moms that did; I just didn’t sterilize much of anything except for putting in dishwasher anytime we did run it — just building up his immune system right? hah.
- Mini sterilizer for pacifier:
- this WAS nice to have when it would fall on the floor in dirty public places — but didn’t use if it fell on somewhere at home.
- Oxo Tot space drying rack
- really good for allll the bottles and pumping things if using! I breastfed most of the time but did pump and let brandon bottle feed the last feeding of the day – this helped brady get used to bottles and gave me a mental break! Also we were able to better pack in the milk since he would fall asleep on my boob a lot of the times, but would drink the whole bottle before sleeping.
- Bottle Warmer: I didn’t really use this with baby 1, but baby 2 I used it every night since I would pump and do bedtime bottle nightly.
NURSERY/CHANGING STATION/HOME:
Nursery/Sleeping:
- Babyletto Crib
- loved this so much, and was a relatively good price for most non-toxic cribs on the market!
-
Dresser & Beautiful Brown Mirror – both are now gone but added ones to this nursery folder that are similar!!
- BABY BOY NURSERY (and now his toddler room things too!): https://urlgeni.us/amazon/Boy-nursery
- BABY GIRL NURSERY FOLDER: https://urlgeni.us/amzn/girlnursery
- Snoo Bassinet
-
- we have it shipping a week before due date so we can hopefully trial it within the 30 day period to see if we actually like it — as I’ve heard mamas either LOVE LOVE it, or hated it haha
- other one I would have gotten had I not really splurged, Baby Delight Bassinet (good large size too!) or the Halo one
- UPDATE: we really wanted to love the snoo, but unfortunately baby boy threw up every time we put him in it due to the more jerky movements, so we returned it within the 30-day period. We are now trying out THIS BD one here, as I’ve heard great things about it!
- UPDATE: after more and more research I’m really glad we returned the snoo, even though I’m sure it does help with their sleep!
-
- SnuggleMe organic infant lounger in birch (not on amazon). Can also get it HERE.
- but also there are some knockoffs on amazon – can’t attest to the quality though!
- Dockatot is another option!
- But you only need one or the other, the Dockatot or the SnuggleMe lounger!
- LoveEvery play gym: baby activity and tummy time:
- WAS THE BEST!!
- Swings: We were gifted the 4moms one, and he didn’t not like it, but honestly he more loved the cheaper baby bjorn (non electronic) bouncer (we got a LOT of use out of that!!) or the swing below that we tried out at friends homes! I’ll also include the 4moms in the folder because I know some moms that did absolutely love it!!
- Humidifier: we got this simple one during his first sickness and use it anytime he gets sick now! But also have a more expensive one on the list that some people love! If you get the plastic ones, just make sure to clean them very regularly so mold doesn’t build (lesson learned the hard way!)
- Non-toxic Crib mattress: I included a few here depending on budget!
- I personally got the babyletto one on the list, but kind of wish I would have splurged just a little more for the naturepedic – but maybe it’s not that different!
- Burts bees organic blue crib sheet
- Yogasleep white dohm white noise machine
- Hatch baby light and sound maker:
- update: I used the above sound machine first but then began using the hatch when we got it as a gift later!
- Shusher: a must have in the early days haha
- Organic Swaddle Blankets
- SLEEP SACKS AND SWADDLES:
- Halo swaddle sleep sack, newborn
- Halo sleep sack medium
- Ollie Swaddle in sky or stone
- I’ve heard the Halo velcro ones and the Ollie is all I’ll ever use!
- UPDATE:
- The ollie is the ONLY one we used for swaddles for my first baby – it was so easy and kept him in as someone who wanted his hands out hah.
- For sleep sacks later on, we tried a ton but ended up loving the nested bean as a transition one that’s only slightly weighted… and then the dreamland baby weighted one if you want a really weighted sleepsack (we used this one a little and he did love it too, but you have to be ok with quite a bit of weight) + the halo sleepsack if you don’t want a weighted one. We went back and forth!
- For my daughter, we actually never used a swaddle, she was a tummy sleeper from the start so we just went straight to sleep sack (gifted from wildbird was our first with her and she loved it — but halo and weighted dreamland one we also used, and so many other comfy brands are out there too for these now!)
Changing/Diapers
- Hatch Changing Pad and Scale:
- I didn’t want to obsess over weight gain, but it was nice to have this changing table that I could weigh him early on to make sure he was gaining well and also intermittently later on just to keep a fun track on him!
- Gray Portable diaper changing pad (keep in car!)
- Parker baby diaper caddy:
- Used this on his diaper cart for more organization!
- Diaper Wipe Dispenser
- I honestly personally never really used mine, but my Seedlings wipe have an open and close area – if you used wipes that just taped shut, maybe this would be good!
- Ubbi diaper trash can (we got two of these):
- definitely invest in a diaper trash can!
- Boppy changing pad liners
- I Put these on top of the Hatch changing table so no poop would get on that
- Honest Diapers in sizes newborn-3
- UPDATE in 2023: these didn’t work well for us early on, but now at 18mo love the honest overnight ones for night!
- UPDATE 2024: these actually worked fine for my 2nd baby — but she also didn’t poop near as often, so maybe that’s why! Just goes to show every baby is different.
- Millie Moon Diapers in sizes newborn-3
- UPDATE in 2023: we LOVED these his first year but MM changed their ingredients and are no longer nontoxic.
- 2024 Diaper Favorites:
- Joonya or Hello Bello throughout day, (joonya also has great pull ups!) and for my toddler who pees a lot in the night, honest overnight or hello bello overnight.
BATH/CLOTHES
I really didn’t have to buy many clothes at all because SO many family and friends bought us random onesies and outfits ranging from newborn-12 months! But I did want to buy a few outfits that were either special or the magnetic ones!
Bath:
- Organic hooded towels
- For all soap/body care products, I bought the Seedlings line myself from Young Living! –> here’s the link for all my pregnancy/baby favs!
- Fisher Price 4-1 baby bath sling and seat AND the bath lotus flower – loved having both! flower for newborn
- Natural Bath Sponges
- Burts Bees Hooded organic Towels
- Burts bees organic washcloths
Clothes
- Magnetic me onesies (I ended up getting a few of these!)
- UPDATE in 2023: you NEED magnetic or zip onesies — do NOT buy any button ones haha.
- Any and all bamboo comfy two way zipper onesies (both of my babies live in these the first few months)
- Burts bees organic onesies with hats
- Burts bees mittens
- didn’t really use these!
- I also bought random socks on amazon + some little outfits on Etsy for photos!
SAFETY:
Baby/toddler safety amazon folder
Skiphop retractable gate
- you’ll want this as SOON as the become somewhat mobile! Especially if you have stairs like us but even to block off certain rooms.
Bebcare baby monitor: Bebcare!
- Okay I was SUPER pumped to find this, because I wanted a video monitor but also didn’t want a ton of radiation near baby! This is a low radiation video monitor. I had someone buy it from my registry for us, but then reached out to the company actually to see if they would give me my own discount code for y’all โ and they did! https://bebcare.com/discount/SGM10
Frida 3-1 digital thermometer
- honestly I still use this but I find it to be very unreliable- will read different temps within seconds of taking from each other. So I’d also invest in an rectal thermometer
- Here’s a folder of all my natural med cabinet things I’ve come to love in the 18months of Brady! Thankfully he didn’t get sick until the year mark, but it’s always good to have things on hand so you can have the natural remedies when needed!
- I also have a few IG highlights on this topic, “med cabinet”, “baby congestion”, ear infection, and more!
Bink dots plug covers
American Red Cross first year kit
Regalo top of stairs baby gate white
Ok, I’m SURE I am missing some things — but these were the main nontoxic baby products I added on my registry and then bought whatever was leftover! I will say we DID invest in the Uppababy stroller + car seat on our own (not on registry) — but after doing all the research, we were excited about them both!
2024 UPDATE: Baby 2/Girl “Sprinkle” Additions:
there wasn’t many things I “needed” with loving all I got for baby #1 and my sister giving me all her hand me downs since she’s down with kids and had both boys and a girl, but since I’m having a girl this time (boy the first time), I added a few things I needed girl-wise + a few things I’ll need double of that Brady still uses at 20 months!
- Another Crib:
- we went back and forth, but he will only be 22 months old when she comes, and didn’t want to rush him out of a crib, especially with no signs of climbing out and being on the upper floor — it’ll just give us all more peace of mind! Plus his white crib fit the look for her room anyways. So we brought this CC brown crib for him that would transition into a toddler bed when ready and look more “little boyish” then the white, and switched the white BL one from above into her room!
- I also got a mattress pad topper for both the bassinet and crib this time around
- I was so freaked out by not making things “too soft” as a first time mom, but honestly have no fear of that anymore and want them to just be more comfy then those rock hard bassinet pads hah.
- Another Hatch light & sound machine: loved this for brady’s room so definitely put this on the list for her room too!
- A second camera for her room:
- our low radiation Bebcare one (SGM10 for discount!) offers secondary camera additions. But I also found this one on amazon that’s cheaper and can split screen, and apparently still good based on online reviews in terms of radiation.
- These crib sheets in a blush color for her room, so soft!
- Another sleep sack
- I’m still sold on THIS one being the best one. But wanted another one so if one needs to be washed, I can have the other ready to go!
- But this one is also good!
- UPDATE: sis was a tummy sleeper from the start, so we never swaddled and just put her in a sleepsack from the start (wildbird & halo were favorites early on! dreamland weighted on later for the climber she became quickly!)
- Another diaper trash can
- We’re actually going with this one instead of the ubbi this time. Not that the ubbi was “bad”, but it definitely still smelled and couldn’t keep it in small spaces.
- UPDATE: both work equally as well – but you’ll need to buy the specific bags for them.
- More pacifiers, in girl colors
- we LOVED the TT brand in here.
- More bottles in pink color
- I liked the DB and CT ones here!
- I loved our boppy pillow for breastfeeding, but got a pink cover for it to replace the blue cover ๐
- More magnetic me onesies and zip up onesies in girl colors
- Bottle warmer and wipe warmer:
- I heard these weren’t necessary so didn’t get them with the first baby, but he hated the cold wipes in those 2am changes lol (can’t blame him). And also a bottle warmer is just more convenient then putting in a mug and running hot water over it (even though that method worked fine too)… so got both this time around!
- UPDATE: warmer is a must for sure if you’ll be doing bottles! So much easier. I actually left my simple warmer on a trip and got a different one, so linking both depending if you want a higher tech one or simple!
- Any new pump parts you need (my favorite wearable one I LOVED last BFing season in this nursing folder)
- Stroller add-on parts:
- for our uppababy stroller, you can use adaptors to hold another baby too — so got those! Plus another rumble seat once she was able to sit up!
- For ME
- I didn’t put much on their for me the first time around, but I did put this belly PP band on there this time along with some more pricey PP undies. I also put the top toddler carrier on it (accordingly to my IG poll), because even though my toddler (20 months) walks most places now, it’s nice if we want to go on longer beach walks (we live right by it!), where he can’t walk that far/that fast.
- UPDATE: we really didn’t use the toddler carrier since he can walk and we never really took him on longer hikes – but if you do hikes as a family, you’ll want some kind of toddler or hiking carrier!
- And honestly other than that, just some pink wall art and blankets for her room and such — but that’s about it!
