So what IS Young Living?
Oh friend! It is SO much more than just essential oils, even though that’s what you may know them for. I actually started using their products for their DIGESTION focused products, and not the other oils you may think of when thinking of essential oils.

I’ve talked a lot about gut health, and it’s mostly because after struggling myself and sharing with others, I realized how many others struggled out there too! And if there is one thing both research and personal experience has shown me, your gut healthy affects almost everything else in your body, and especially affects how you feel daily!! I began implementing some of Young Living’s products to support my gut health and hormonal health after getting a little messed up from birth control and the “post birth control syndrome”. I added drops of their Digize oil in my water, I placed a drop or 2 of their Peppermint oil when my stomach wasn’t feeling great, I began taking their Life 9 probiotics every day each month, and I carried around their digestive enzymes in my purse to take before meals. And began researching all thing hormonal health such as their progessence plus, endoflex, sclaressence, and so many more to support this new journey.
Here’s a WHOLE recorded call I actually did on gut health and hormonal health and my story as to why I joined, but everyone has a different story, and there are so many reasons why to give it a try with this kit.
After using these regularly for some time, my friend couldn’t help but to chat with me about their other products. I had no idea how many uses there were for essential oils, and because of being sold from the digestion/hormonal support products, I was so excited to start this journey with Young Living and jump fully in.
But what really is Young Living?
“But can’t I just buy Essential Oils from a grocery or drug store, I see them cheap there?”
As a budget-friendly gal, that was my mindset before learning the truth! But see, not all essential oils are regulated, therefore companies can put any filler or additive into what they call an “essential oil.” Most of what you will find at the grocery store is either another ingredient altogether or has toxic fillers in it. Did you know that companies can put “100% essential oil” on the bottle if it just has 5% oil in it?!? And quality matters more than you may think here friend!
Why? When you are using essential oils on your body for any reason related to health or skin care, it’s actually very dangerous to use these types of oils. You can have reactions to these types of oils and they can make conditions worse, bringing more harm than good.
Here’s why I love Young Living. Their essential oils are 100% therapeutic grade. Within 20 minutes of applying oils, they can be found in every cell in your body! These pure oils are distilled from the “lifeblood” of plants and contain the plant’s own immunity, hormones, and scents. Young Living has rigorous testing and standards for their oils. No fillers are ever added to Young Living’s oils and no toxins are present. In fact, they don’t even use pesticides or herbicides on their crops or soil so that toxins won’t be present.
